crisp-chomping ecstasy

Working in collaboration with illustrator and artist Andrew Hudson, I was commissioned to bring his work to life, as part of a UK launch campaign for the new to the market brand Popworks - and irresistibly delicious new crunchy puffy popped corn crisp.

POPPED FROM THE PAGE

With a palette that illuminates the page and typography that gets a message seen, Andrew created a series of posters emblazoned with summer shades and bold lettering, ribboning around characters in the throes of crisp-chomping ecstasy. On this project I wanted to bring the fun and energy of his characters to the screen, while also highlights the tiny tasty treats he spread through his canvas.

CRUNCHY CONTENT

While the initial designs were created for a print OOH campaign, during the animation process I adapted these works for use as both DOOH assets and social content - to spread the joy far and wide. These online videos were sprinkled with one final layer of sound design by Andrew to really bring this snacks to life.
